Job Description:

Assisting dentist and dental hygienist during procedures, providing suction and taking analog x-rays. Instructing patients on oral hygiene and providing postoperative care instructions. Taking vital signs and medical history, and updating patient records. Preparing, cleaning and sterilizing dental equipment and tools as well as setting up dental operatories. Using DENTRIX, scheduling appointments, taking payments and answering phone calls when necessary. Assisting in the dental laboratory, taking impressions, and mixing amalgam. Adhering to dental infection control policies and safety regulations. Performing coronal polishing and applying topical fluoride. Greet patients, explain dental care treatment plans and make patients feel comfortable. Working in an established small family practice taking PPO only.
