Corona dental office is seeking a quality oriented and production minded dental hygienist for Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (8am-5pm). The Candidate must be a team player and understands the patient's dental health and needs. We are a PPO only office, one patient per 60 minute, digital Xrays and Eaglesoft software. The candidate, must be articulate, possess over 2 years of hygiene experience, have a proven track record to improve the patient experience. Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Conduct vital sign checks and maintain accurate medical records.
Utilize EMR systems for documentation review and patient management.
Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures, providing chairside support during treatments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus. We will train.
Knowledge of medical coding and documentation review processes is beneficial.
Experience in patient care, including pediatric patients, is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of general dentistry practices and procedures.
