Dental Board of California
The Dental Board of California’s mission is to protect and promote the health and safety of consumers of the State of California.
Here you can search and verify a Dental Professional’s license and see if it is in good standing.
American Dental Association (ADA)
Founded in 1859, the American Dental Association is the oldest and largest national dental society in the world. Since then, the ADA has grown to become the leading source of oral health-related information for dentists and their patients.
California Dental Association (CDA)
The California Dental Association is the largest statewide dental association in the country, and their nearly 25,000 members represent almost 72 percent of dentists practicing in the state. The CDA organization is comprised of CDA, the CDA Foundation, The Dentists Insurance Company, and TDIC Insurance Solutions.

If you can not find a dentist in your area who is accepting new patients, please contact the Denti-Cal Telephone Service Center for additional help at 1-800-322-6384.
Low-Cost Dental Services:
There are several clinics in our communities that offer free or discounted dental services to those in need. Click on the above link to get a list and information on these clinics. Please note that this list is intended for public use only and should not be construed as an endorsement of any participating dentist or clinic.
Child Health and Disability Prevention Program:
Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP) is a preventive program that delivers periodic health assessments and services to low-income children and youth in California. CHDP provides care coordination to assist families with medical appointment scheduling, transportation, and access to diagnostic and treatment services.
Community Outreach Programs:
Tri-County Dental Society has several programs in place to help residents in our communities obtain the oral health care they need. Some programs are geared for children, others for the elderly and the disabled or medically compromised and others for uninsured adults who can’t afford treatment.
